What We Collect
When you sign up, we store your email address and display name. When you use the platform, we store your projects, workspaces, requirements, and any files you upload. If you create or join an agency, we store your agency membership and role. That's it — we don't collect anything you don't explicitly give us.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to run the platform — showing your projects, powering the dashboard, running site audits, and crawling websites. We don't sell your data to anyone. We don't use your content to train AI models. We don't send you marketing emails unless you've explicitly signed up for our newsletter.
Website Crawling and Audits
When you use our website crawler or site inspector, we access publicly available web pages on your behalf. We temporarily process page data to generate reports (broken links, SEO issues, performance scores). We don't store the full content of crawled pages long-term — only the results and summary data you see in your dashboard.
Agency and Team Data
If you create an agency, your team members' emails and roles are visible to you as the agency owner. Team members can see shared workspaces they've been invited to. If you leave an agency, your access to its workspaces is removed.
Data Security
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which means your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's data is isolated — you can only see your own projects and workspaces (or ones you've been explicitly invited to). We follow standard security practices for a modern web application.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to run BuildoraIO: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). These services only receive the data needed to perform their function.
Your Rights
You can export or delete your data at any time. You can delete your account from the settings page, which removes your profile and projects. If you want a full data export or have other questions about your data, reach out and we'll help.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and notify you through the app. Minor updates (like fixing typos) won't trigger a notification.
